Hello from the iconic “Rocky” Steps in Philadelphia, PA!
I’m well aware that there are a few travel brands that are household names: Viking River Cruises, Hilton and Marriott hotels, and of course…drum roll – Disney!
Now, let’s clear this part up first…if you have worked with me before you may be aware that I don’t touch a Disney World or Land vacation. I leave that to the Disney pros cc: Travel with Nikki cc: The Enchanted Traveler. I will gladly help with your Disney cruise (because they really are the best), your Aulani stay, and now, your Adventures by Disney tour.
I can remember when Disney first launched this product; Jeffrey, my sales rep coming into the office absolutely giddy over this new product they were offering! Think Disney service + magic put into travel packages for the most popular destinations around the world! Want to take your children to France but feel overwhelmed and terrified that you’ll set the pace incorrectly? Maybe you want them to experience playing with other children in foreign settings? Or you want to take them to Italy but really don’t want to be the one in charge of the day to day touring. Answer: ADVENTURES by DISNEY!
While you certainly want to be with your three kids every day on vacation, they are done after touring most of the day, so an adults only dinner on vacation would be a miracle, right? Adventures by Disney has an evening on every trip that they do a special dinner for the kids so you can finish your glass of wine or two (p.s. it’s included) without handing over your phone to entertain them. That’s not a judgmental statement 😉
So how do I know this?
I was fortunate to be invited to spend the day in Philly with Adventures by Disney. They showed myself and 30 other advisors exactly what happens on their Spirit of America tour. I know you’re not here to read about the minute by minute activities, you just want to know, was I impressed, right? What are my critiques?
NOT A SINGLE CRITIQUE.
I realized about half way through the day that I didn’t even know how I got from point a to point b or how I had another snack in my hand, I just knew I did. Is it not that most refreshing thing (as a parent/business owner/employee/whatever you are) to just turn your brain off for a second and have someone handle things for you? Also, just want to say, that’s what my job is – to cut down on your research and thinking and just offer you the best options for you…anyways, back to ABD 😉
The photo at the top of this (massive paragraph) is of the snacks that the guides carry (there are always two guides who also act as your photographers so hey to more family photos)! I was enamored with the lengths they went for people with dietary restrictions and allergies. FEAR NOT fellow allergy parents! They get into the kitchen with the chef to ensure a gluten free kitchen is truly that.
What I came away with is this:
I need to do this with my family. I need to shut my brain off and accept that it’s great to see the world with young kids via Disney, because I don’t always need to be the one in charge and I certainly would appreciate someone else worrying about all the dairy and gluten free snacks I normally carry 😉
Because I want you to get to experience this too; I’m offering $150 off any Adventures by Disney tour if booked by December 31, 2019.
