I’m highlighting two resorts in the Caribbean and Mexico we sell time and time again because of their consistently great reviews. No, these are not five star properties. I wanted to showcase all-inclusive resorts when you’re traveling on a tighter budget. You are lucky I love you so much because this is typically something I will find a way around telling you outright because once I do, are you going to hop online and reserve it even though it was my expertise that led you there? We don’t get paid unless someone makes a reservation through US! And you can either support a local business and family OR let the mega companies keep a few extra dollars (and I ensure you, it’s just a few!).

I know it’s snarky #truth
I hope that Mexico will always appear somewhere on my lists, it gets such bad rep thanks to our always negative media but the service and food you can experience at a good resort in Mexico can be superior to many other tropical locales.
The Valentin Imperial Maya in the Riviera Maya region of Mexico is always, always, always on my short list when clients are on a smaller budget but want an adults only, all inclusive experience. I can’t say there is something super unique that sets this resort apart from others, but the service and food are always superb. The rooms are good sized and they have a half mile stretch of beach. P.S. the guacamole is the some of the best!
Another affordable option is the Couples Negril adults only, all inclusive resort in Jamaica. Although in recent years it’s become a well-known “secret” and is reflective in the pricing and lack of availability in high season. Jamaican flavor oozes out of this resort with award winning food, great staff and simple “Caribbean rustic” rooms as I call them. This is a perfect option for couples that like socializing while on vacation, everyone is always so friendly!
