From the Desk of Heather Christopher: July Updates

We are about a month into summer and I hope you’re having a great one so far! Or maybe it’s making you think you still need to book a vacation for this year? I am so happy you mentioned that 😉

If you haven’t planned your vacation this year, that early November/early December timeframe is a total A plus
 – low crowds, temperate weather for the most part, and great rates. Now is the time to book!

Maybe you know you need a vacation but looking for some destination inspiration?
You can either reply here and I would be happy to play matchmaker or you can follow our HCTC Pinterest for daily inspiration. I vote both!

In other news, if you’re new around here or to refresh your memory, I co-own a destination wedding company, Wanderlust Wedding Co
. Every year we plan four unique destination weddings. We’re 3/4 of the way full so if you know anyone hoping to plan a destination wedding at a non-all inclusive property in the U.S. or Caribbean, please reach out sooner rather than later.

Don’t wait! Travel Pulse has reported that the Passport Services agency has increased the processing time to as long as six to eight weeks. This is a 50% increase from the four to six wait time experienced before. If you’re thinking “oh, no!” you can get your passport expedited for a processing service fee of an additional $60. This will speed up the arrival time of passports to between two and three weeks. You can read more details here
