THE ROUGE
A very contemporary red color themed hotel within a five minute walk of the reception venue and five blocks from the White House!
King or Two Queen Deluxe Room, $119 + tax (14.5%) per night for single and double occupancy
Triple Occupancy (3 people sharing), $149 per night + tax
Quad Occupancy (4 people sharing), $179 per night + tax

FAQs
- Please complete the reservation and payment forms below informing me of your hotel choice, check in and check out dates and any other travel arrangements you need.
- The hotels will keep your credit card on file as a guarantee. Cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to check-in, otherwise you’ll be charged one night + plus.
- If you’re traveling from outside the U.S., please remember a passport is necessary but there are other requirements, you are responsible for obtaining proper documentation.
- U.K. requirements
- I’m happy to assist in airfare arrangements, please let me know what your needs are and I’ll be sure to get a quote. The fee for me to issue airline tickets is $50USD per person.
- If you’re staying downtown and plan to do touring in the city, a rental car is not necessary – if you plan to explore areas outside of the city, please let me know so I can advise your best options.

McPherson Square is the metro stop to use, but keep in mind the hotels will still be a walk (with luggage) from the metro station.

Fares from Washington Dulles Silver Line
- $5.00 each way. Cash or credit card only; SmartTrip Cards NOT accepted.
- FREE for children under 2 years of age.
- Boarding at the Airport; Purchase tickets at the counter located inside Arrival Door 4 in the Terminal, on the Baggage Claim Level.
- Boarding at the Wiehle-Reston East Metro station; Exit to north side of the station. Board the bus. Once the bus arrives at the airport, purchase tickets on board.
- Metrorail SmartTrip Cards may be purchased inside any Metrorail Station. SmartTrip cards are for use only on the Metrorail system.
- Non-stop, frequent service every 15 minutes during peak times and 20 minutes during off-peak times.
- Convenient front-door service at Dulles Airport, Arrival Door 4, in the center of the Terminal Building.
- FREE Wi-Fi on-board.
- Spacious luggage storage area available on board.
BWI Marshall Airport offers free, frequent and convenient shuttle service between the MARC/Amtrak station and the BWI Marshall Airport Terminal. Shuttle Service operates 24 hours per day 365 days per year. Shuttles run approximately every 6 minutes except between the hours of 1: 00 am and 5:00 am where service operates every 25 minutes.
At the MARC/Amtrak station, shuttles stop adjacent to the rail station garage, directly across from the rail station. At the BWI Marshall Airport terminal, shuttles stop at each designated airline check-in counter.
You can take AMTRAK to Union Station and then pick up the Metro:

SUGGESTIONS FOR YOUR TIME IN DC
- Walking tour of the monuments (guided, by segway, or on your own) *also worth mentioning is seeing the monuments at night – stunning!
- Smithsonian Museums *free and open everyday, perfect option for the young and old but especially those trying to stay out of the heat! Although note that the brand new African American History and Culture museum require a reservation – I would get this ASAP if interested!
- Rent a paddle boat in the Tidal Basin
- The Millennium Stage at the Kennedy Center *free – summer schedule not out yet
- Old Ebbit Grill *a DC classic – perfect for when you’re down by the White House
- Rose’s Luxury *one of the top restaurants in the city – New American tapas menu
- Union Market about 30 minutes by metro from the hotels, but well worth it for picking up unique tokens from your time in DC and plenty of options for food and drink whether it be for breakfast on the weekend, lunch or dinner!
- Chaplin’s Restaurant *1920’s style restaurant only 5 minutes from Mason & Rook or the Rouge
- Lincoln’s Waffle Shop *A simple eatery with excellent food – only 10 minutes away from the hotels
