Work With Me

I’m not one of those “old-fashioned” travel agents.

Which is good news, because you don’t want an “old-fashioned” vacation — no camper vans or kitschy timeshares, please.

You want:

  • Adorable boutique hotels with designer details
  • Stunning all-inclusive resorts that bring on the sizzle
  • Amenities, extras, and inclusions galore

And — you want it all without having to do the time-stealing, soul-sucking research yourself!

That’s where I come in.

With consultant-exclusive access and more than a decade of experience in the travel industry, I play vacation matchmaker, pairing you with the properties and experiences that fit your interests, budget, and deepest travel desires.

Am I the PERFECT travel advisor for you?

It’s so important to me that I work with clients who are really going to get the most value out of our time together.

But how do we really know if we’re a good match? Or dare I say, the perfect match?

Well, feel free to “x” out now if …

  • You’re looking to DIY your vacation. I love a good DIY home makeover on HGTV as much as the next gal … but if you want to get down n’ dirty and DIY your vacation yourself, we’re simply not a good match. That’s because instead of DIY, my clients get DFY—Done For You.
  • You’re always chasing after the best “deal.” If you get a thrill when you snag a major discount on Groupon, or if you brag to your friends about the size of your coupon drawer, then I’m not the travel advisor for you. I’m focused on creating the best value for my clients, which seldom means going with a rock-bottom price. My clients and I share the same philosophy: If you’re going to take a vacation, you might as well make it count!
  • You actually look forward to planning out the nitty gritty travel details. If that’s you, then you don’t need me! While I’d still be able to add value to your travel experience thanks to supplier connections and access to VIP perks, I wouldn’t want to take the travel planning fun away from you if that’s something you’re into.

If, on the other hand …

You can check off most of these boxes, we might be the PERFECT fit!

  • You’re overwhelmed by all the travel choices out there. Tired of sifting through the 12 million Google results you get when you type in “Greece vacation”? Let me be your human Google (but with more discerning taste).
  • You desperately want to hand the planning off to a trusted expert. You’ve got better things to do with your time than to stay on hold with Delta for the next 3 hours. My clients value their time, and value my expertise. They feel comfortable letting me do the heavy lifting for them.
  • You value experiences over material things. Sipping a glass of bubbly at a marble-topped bar overlooking a pink-tinged sunset? That’s your idea of a good time. Souvenirs are nice, but indelible memories are even better. You want a vacation full of moments worth savoring (and you don’t want to feel like you’re rushing through the experience).
  • You geek out over hotel amenities. A+ service, a staff who greets you by name, a luxurious surprise waiting for you in your suite … yes, please! Let’s geek out over beautiful boutique hotels and dreamy resorts together.
  • You prefer to communicate over email (and scheduled calls). After our initial phone consult, we’ll primarily keep in touch over email—this allows me to keep track of all our details in one place. Plus, sticking to our scheduled calls (instead of ringing up out of the blue) means I’ll always be prepared for our convos, saving you time.

And finally …

  • You want to make your next vacation really count. You’ve had lots of “good” vacations before … but, with an expert’s help, you think you can do better. You’re after something truly one-of-a-kind, built around you.

Did you find yourself nodding along? Then I think we’d work great together.

There’s only one more thing you need to know …

The Planning Process: 3 Steps to Travel Bliss

Here’s how I’ll take you from travel dreams to an “omg-this-is-amazing” vacation reality:

1. We Connect

After you fill out the short Trip Design Form, we’ll hop on an initial (free!) consultation call so I can learn more about your interests and needs — and so you can ensure we’re a good fit. If you decide you want me to plan your trip (yay!), you’ll then pay the trip-planning fee, which starts at $350 for new clients.

2. I Plan

Relying on my worldwide network of travel contacts, I’ll put together preliminary itineraries for you to choose from. Once you narrow down your favorite, I’ll take care of the entire booking process for you — from flights and hotel arrangements to car transfers and even restaurant reservations.

3. You Play

You jet off to your dream destination — knowing that I’m just a phone call, email, or text away if you need me. Cancelled flight? I’m on it. Lost baggage? I’ll work it out. You haven’t really vacationed until you know what it’s like to not have to worry about a. single. thing.

I am SO nosey so I love seeing/hearing what you gu I am SO nosey so I love seeing/hearing what you guys do all day - isn't that the purpose of social media?! ;)
Here's what my day looks like right now - work focus only, hah
- Try to get dinner reservations for Mama's Fish House in Maui, try every hour + continually have no success thanks to the C
- Work on two honeymoon proposals, both for the Caribbean, not alike in anyway. 2 different budgets, 2 different vibes
- Send out 8 week out emails to a family heading to Playa Mujeres, Mexico in June (A year later than planned)
- Make spreadsheets (honestly not my strength here) for an incentive retreat
- Beg a hotel to honor a rate that wasn't even a week old, y'all travel pricing is supply & demand, I feel like a broken record saying that - if you never believed me before 2021 IS PROVING IT
- Make sure all new inquiries get my Calendly link and/or forward them to the appropriate colleague.
- stare at my task list &check Covid rules again
- Be super behind in invoicing, finally decide I'll spend thirty minutes on it
- Have a call with a property for said incentive trip
- Order mini travel beauty products from Sephora for trip next week
- Update restaurant lists for a family going to Tides Inn this summer, check on closed restaurants in Kauai
- Spend at least 20-30 minutes reading industry articles.
- Communicate back & forth with all of you lovely folks about airfare, activities in destination that you want to book, dinner and spa reservations, insurance questions.
- Hunt down a hotel confirmation that is way overdue
- Email my bookkeeper
- Follow up on commission I haven't received since late 2020
- Schedule meetings with travel industry service providers for new client facing tools
- Schedule client meetings
- Write a description of my business for a new project I'm hoping to get into this summer or fall
- Read quote for one of the said honeymooners + send back edits
- Send 578 Asana notes to Chelly so she can help keep this train moving!
- Schedule training for my little team with a few hotels so we're up to date.
- Try to figure out what my hourly rate would be if I had one
- Text back + forth with colleagues to keep sane/know whats up
Every Christopher said our @tidesinn Easter vacati Every Christopher said our @tidesinn Easter vacation was a 10/10 for fun!

A great option within 4 hours from South Central PA to be on the water, drink great beer, eat Oysters & fresh rock fish tacos, let the kids ride bikes (complimentary), learn to play bocce ball, make new friends, make sand bombs to throw in the Rappahanock, sing karaoke, swing on tree swings, take a pottery class, and everyone falls asleep by 9pm!

The Tides Inn staff felt like a family & were so grateful for treating us like theirs ❤️
Monday’s in Travel Update (via a post instead of Monday’s in Travel Update (via a post instead of IGTV because #postpeloton 😜)

1. Iceland, Ecuador (Galapagos!!), Thailand (opens July 1), Belize, Greece (aiming for mid May) are opened or opening for vaccinated travelers. ✈️✈️
Reach out for details or click the link in my profile to get started!

2. Spring and summer availability is LIMITED for everything domestic & Caribbean.
I don’t say that to discourage you, but to ask you to be prepared to have flexibility on dates and budget and what you’re willing to sacrifice.
And if you aren’t willing, then let’s move the trip to a later date so you don’t have too!

3. It’s not too early to be talking about travel for September and into early 2022! Let’s go friends! 🙌🏽

Also @kir2ben I “cropped” this Willy Nilly because I don’t know what I’m doing and Later made me 😬
PS thank you for the referral ❤️❤️
